I myself a kind of genealogist has saved a tote of letters, from relatives who wrote answers to me when I would ask questions of information on our family, or just to say Hello how are you doing. Well this winter I got the tote out and sat it by my chair, and when there was nothing on tv, I would read them. Most dating back to 1986. I soon realized that most of these people have died and are long gone. I am so happy to have this treasure chest of memories. I have there handwriting and signatures, which several in the family have not. I took it upon myself to copy these letters into a journal. I will take it to my sister incase my home would ever burn down or get destroyed. I won't have their handwriting but I still will have there words.
